Backup goaltender Josh Harding reached an agreement with the Minnesota Wild on a one-year contract, the club announced on Wednesday.
Harding debuted with the Wild in 2006 and has been the regular backup to Niklas Backstrom the past three seasons.
The Regina native has four shutouts, a 2.66 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage in 83 career appearances with Minnesota but is looking to bounce back after a 2009-10 campaign that was not as impressive as his previous two seasons.
Harding has gone 23-36-3 in the past three seasons, although he has often been given poor offensive support by Wild teammates. In his 36 losses, Minnesota scored just 60 goals.
