Calgary Flames GM Darryl Sutter took time out of a busy morning to creep downstairs and say a quick goodbye to Curtis McElhinney after dealing the goaltender away on trade deadline day.
It wasn't the only reason McElhinney isn't holding any grudges after being shipped to the Anaheim Ducks Wednesday in exchange for 32-year-old Finnish backstop Vesa Toskala.

The New York Rangers will make a push for a playoff spot with added experience in net after claiming goalie Alex Auld off re-entry waivers from the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
Auld, who was waived on Feb. 24 and cleared 24 hours later, will call New York home, not the American Hockey League's Texas Stars, after the Olympic break.
The 29-year-old has a 9-6-3 record in 21 games this season with a 3.00 goals-against average and .894 save percentage.
